Dangerous Chemicals In Household Cleaners

There are dangerous chemicals in household cleaners. Since the turn of the 20th century, over 85,000 chemicals have been introduced into our environment. You would assume that manufacturers need to get approval from the EPA. That assumption would be wrong. Chemicals used in consumer goods do not have to be tested. Companies do have to notify them of a chemical being imported or manufactured.

Doesn’t The Environmental Protection Agency Test These Chemicals?

Rarely are companies asked to provide safety data. This should be cause for alarm. As Americans, we believe that we are protected from harmful things in the environment but, again, that would be incorrect.

The law says that the EPA can not require a chemical to be tested unless they suspect there may be an issue. How would they know if there is an issue without first testing it? It’s a catch-22. The EPA has only banned 5 chemicals! It’s a case of “safe until proven otherwise”.

The EPA is far too busy testing pharmaceuticals and pesticides. In the 50’s, a drug called Thalidomide was introduced and given to pregnant women for morning sickness. That drug was responsible for severe birth defects.

Toxins Can Make You Fat!

There is scientific proof that toxins can actually make you fat or prevent you from losing weight. These toxins interfere with metabolism, hormones and brain function and are called obesogens. That is one more good reason to make your home toxin free!

How To Live A Toxic-Free Life

A company called Norwex was formed about 23 years ago in Norway. It made its way to the United States about 8 years ago. They manufacture a special type of microfiber cloth that comes from 70% recycled materials. It has a BacLock technology which is a micro silver antibacterial agent. These cloths are 1/200th the thickness of a human hair which results in more surface area per square inch of cloth. It is so dense that if you unraveled it, the fiber would stretch from Canada to Mexico!

The cloths will remove up to 99% of bacteria with just this cloth and water alone. This microfiber can save a typical family almost $600 a year on cleaning supplies!

I have never seen anything quite like it. This microfiber cleans and polishes better than I could ever get with my toxic cleaners. The main reason is that all those cleaners leave a residue which attracts dirt and builds up on surfaces. You will be amazed! Join me in living life chemical free!
