Pisector Professional Wireless Home Security Alarm System Kit with Auto Dial PS03-M
Best Place to buy: Amazon (Prime eligible)
Rating: 3.9 (out of 5)
This is a simple unit that is easy to install. When the alarm sounds, it is loud and the unit will call you on your cell phone so if you are not at home, you know that the alarm had been tripped. It comes with 2 key chain remote controls so you can arm or disarm from your car.
Upon investigation, the ratings reflect the fact that the sticky pads that come with the unit aren’t as sticky as they should be which is an easy fix. Most owners screw them to the wall which makes good sense anyway.
There is a main panel and you can arm the unit in “stay” or “away” mode. Animals under 50 pounds won’t set the unit off in “away” mode. If your animals are larger, you would most likely put it on “stay” mode.
It uses electricity but it also has a battery back-up. The brackets are plastic as metal ones would interfere with the magnetic signal of the sensor.
Some people have said that they added a local monitoring service for about $10 a month. You would need to check your local listings if you were interested in adding that feature. Otherwise, the volume of this alarm would scare anyone away!
It comes with 3 motion sensors, 10 door and window sensors, and interior and exterior siren, 1 yard sign and 2 window signs.
Pros: Inexpensive for a home security system
Chime feature to alert you if a door has opened when disarmed (child safety feature)
Can program to call up to 6 phone numbers when alarm sounds
Editable zone name feature
Cons: 3M tape for attaching sensors doesn’t stick well
Customers have reported that it takes the company a few days to respond to inquiries
The control pad is not lit well so from a distance, it’s hard to tell if it’s armed
Parts are plastic and feel cheap

BIBENE WIFI Home Security Alarm System DIY KIT
$129.99 on sale $69.99
Best place to buy: Amazon (Prime eligible)
Rating: 4.4 (out of 5)

This little unit rated very well for a very low price. The seller offers a full price refund (without returning the product!) if they can’t help you with any potential issues. They offer an 18-month warranty and a guide on You Tube which is a good alternative to an instruction manual. Doesn’t look like much when you open the box but it is a powerhouse!
Pros: Inexpensive for a good product
Can add on extra sensors
5 volume settings, 6 tones
Phone notifications when events occur
App works well
Cons: Small pets can set off motion sensors

Our home security equipment review contained 4 home security systems with a price range from $69.99 to $819.99. All of these look like good units and none of them are absolutely perfect. It depends on how large of a space you want to cover and what you need it to do.
